JOB DESCRIPTION – STUDIO ASSISTANT

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide high-level customer service and hospitality while working front desk shifts
  • Manage client expectations and concerns in a timely manner in studio and by phone and email correspondence
  • Champion BurnCycle’s culture by upholding the company’s core values and leading by example
  • Fit new clients to their bikes and adjust existing clients as needed
  • Support instructors by ensuring a successful and timely check in process
  • Assist Studio Manager in managing all aspects of the BurnCycle experience, including running and analyzing weekly reports, daily studio tasks and special projects
  • Ensure studio and equipment remain clean and in impeccable shape at all times
  • Plan and execute in studio events and private rides
  • Order and track inventory for studio supplies
  • Maintain product knowledge for all studio retail operations & restock apparel

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to work a minimum of 30 hours a week.
  • Must have a vehicle for running errands as needed
  • Must have a LOVE for customer service, be attentive, outgoing, positive, friendly, and engaging
  • Must be available to work some early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have excellent communication skills, be proficient with MS Office and have a friendly, professional phone and email etiquette
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • 1-2 years of experience in specialty branded fitness, retail, customer service
  • Must have a passion for fitness, wellness, and the BurnCycle brand
  • MindBody experience a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to kneel, bend, reach, climb, and stand for long durations of time
  • Must be able to lift/carry a minimum of 30 lbs
